My special place is a cafeteria in Tacoronte called "Tea & Chocolat". It is a very cozy cafeteria and has a very peculiar decoration that transports you to the old houses. There are also some delicious desserts and the waiters are very friendly.
It is a special place for me because, when I was little, many times after leaving school I would go with my grandmother to have a snack in that cafeteria. That made me very happy, I loved spending time with my grandmother because she spoiled me in all my whims, moreover, I had a lot of fun with her.
Now, every time I go to that place, I am transported back to those years and I remember with nostalgia those happy moments of my childhood with my grandmother. As she is very old and does not have the vitality of before, whenever I go to that cafeteria I buy some dessert for her. And while we have those delicious desserts we remember those moments when we both had so much fun.
I felt really moved reading this. If one day I go there with my friends (I have a friend who lives in the area), I will tell them to go there and I will take the opportunity to buy a sweet treat for my grandma (who really has a sweet tooth) and tell her the story about you and your grandmother
