My favorite place is far from me, that makes me a little sad at times, it is a charming place, not very big, but that you fall in love with it since the very moment you walk through the door. It is a contemporary place, with great cultural diversity, which is located in one of the busiest cities in the world. Once you get inside you reach a feeling of peace as you never felt before, you can see the affection of all the people who work there, and the great companionship they have. Open since 2003, it has the best breakfasts I have ever had. When I entered for the first time I felt something special and I knew that it would become my favorite place in the world, the one to go back to mentally whenever I need to. And I hope I can return physically more often.

Ronda

Ronda, in the heart of the province of Malaga, is an attractive invitation to discover Andalusia's past. It is situated on a deep gorge which separates the new city from the old town. There is also a new bridge, made especially of stone where you can enjoy amazing views of the town. The New Town Bullring, a legendary 18th-century plaza, is really one of the city's most prominent monuments.

It is one of the most special for me because it was a gift from my partner for my birthday. I felt so thrilled that I could not sleep the night before. I am absolutely delighted to have enjoyed it with her because there is nothing better than making your dreams come true with the person you love.

The greenish place in the world is plenty of colours.

Have you been in a place you think it has to be greenish because has abundant of trees and plants?

This astonished  place has remarkable mountains made of gold, thrilled bleeding rivers and lakes, the bottom of amazing ponds and waterfalls are made of multi colour marble or ruby. In addition it has amazed brilliant coloured animals.

This place it is called Canaima in Venezuela. It is situated in the oldest place in the world: The Amazona's rainforest. "Tepuys" are scarped mountains with a top flat and when the sunrise or sunset take place they look like are made of gold. Rivers has a reddish colour because a high quantity of iron and the ponds has multi colours because they have in the bottom jasper gem among others.

A Tale Place

Have you ever felt like you are in a magical place only possible in films or fairy tales? 

I had this kind of feeling when I was in The Cliffs of Moher, an impressive natural landscape located in the west of Ireland. I've only had the same sensation of greatness in Las Cañadas del Teide, which also has a landscape from another world. Obviously, the most spectacular thing in Moher are the cliffs, but the place as a whole, all green and full of cows and sheep is very beautiful. THE PARADISE.

Do you know that some Harry Potter scenes were shot there?

Have you ever been above the clouds without flying?  

It sounds impossible but if you were from Canary Island, you would know that here everything could happen. You can see the sea from almost every place in the island but when you visit El Teide National Park, a volcanic place with the highest mountain of Spain, you can be surprised by a gorgeous sea of clouds that makes you feel that you are above the world. It´s a natural phenomenon very particular that amazes you so much. 

This place is so special for me, everything change when you arrive there. Your point of view, your feelings about the weather and your impression about the island because it´s not only sand and beach.

Reasons to Live in Singapore

 

Do you know about Singapore?

It is an Asian country, near Malaysia and Indonesia. Its fame is because of  being one of the main economic centers of the continent.

But the most important for me, it is a good place to visit and live. There are many reason for it:

-          If you like modern architecture, you´ll enjoy the futurist buildings

-          Public Transport is so easy to handle and so cheap, connecting all the city.

-          You only need to speak English

-          You can find easily a job

In conclusion, it is a wonderful place to enjoy. In my case I liked a big city for the first time in my life. Why don´t you try it? 

FLORENCIA (Laura Mendoza Bethencourt B2.2)

I always had dreamed to be in Florencia but I actually didn't know how amazing it was that city until I was there. The city is really big but while you are walking down its streets it seems a small town full of charm. I liked my trip so much because I could find a mix of my favorite things when I travel: culture, nice people and incredible food. If you are visiting Florencia, you definitely can't miss the famous gelato, the most tasty and delicious ice cream that I have never tried. In addition, Florencia has so much culture to offer not only inside its museums but also around the streets. You can see amazing works of art anywhere, for instance a huge David(Miguel Angel's work of art) in the middle of a square. This is the special secret of this town, you are all the time amazed by beautiful pieces of art in every street and suddenly you feel like you were in a huge museum.

Charming places - Alba Benhaggai Tabares

My special place is a cafeteria in Tacoronte called "Tea & Chocolat". It is a very cozy cafeteria and has a very peculiar decoration that transports you to the old houses. There are also some delicious desserts and the waiters are very friendly.

It is a special place for me because, when I was little, many times after leaving school I would go with my grandmother to have a snack in that cafeteria. That made me very happy, I loved spending time with my grandmother because she spoiled me in all my whims, moreover, I had a lot of fun with her.

Now, every time I go to that place, I am transported back to those years and I remember with nostalgia those happy moments of my childhood with my grandmother. As she is very old and does not have the vitality of before, whenever I go to that cafeteria I buy some dessert for her. And while we have those delicious desserts we remember those moments when we both had so much fun.

What makes a place special for you?

Tenerife has a lot of wonderful beaches, but one of my favorites is Radazul Beach. This place is special for me not only because of its natural charm, but also for the memories I've made there. For me, the highlights of this place are its beautiful, clean water, its delightful swell and the fact that it's like having three or four beaches in one, so you just have to pick the one that you prefer. If you don't like sand (or you want to go home clean), you should try the sandless one at the end. Radazul Beach is a nice place to spend the day swimming, relaxing or even exploring, just be careful with the rocky puddles and the stairs; moss and waves can be as dangerous as funny.

Charming places

One of my favourites places is The Caldera de Taburiente National Park, located in the island of La Palma. It is volcanic nature and stands out mainly for its water resources. 

Last summer, due to pandemic restrictions, I've had more time to discover corners like this. For me it is a unique experience, as it offers you the opportunity to connect with nature by joining forest and water.

This place has enriched me both physically and mentally. On the one hand, I've spent great days camping with friends and making the trail to the Colorful Waterfall. On the other hand, it has helped me to value the importance of disconnecting from technologies for a while.  In short, a memorable and charming place.
